Every night at Cilantro's there's a new special on food and drinks. The happy hour from 5-7pm is only Monday to Thursday, but the Watsonville cocktail lounge offers even more. Tuesday is Tecate and tacos for $3, a great way to celebrate the day before hump day. Sundays and Mondays during football season bring with them football specials on pitchers and draft beers. Fabulously strong and tasty margaritas are a great accompaniment to any of the dishes on the menu, but the sopes come highly recommended.

Locals claim that the Wooden Nickel Bar & Grill in Watsonville has the best hamburgers ever. A huge half-pound burger couldn't go better with any other drink than a cold beer. The bar and restaurant has a full bar to accompany a menu that mostly has pub food classics. Take the locals' word for it about the burgers and beer, they know what they're talking about.
