It's pure wine-lover's heaven, but it doesn't require an oenology degree to enjoy Soif thoroughly. The room itself is uniquely cool, with big desiccated vines as modernist wall sculpture.It's staffed by un-snobbish professionals whose knowledge makes it easy to navigate a list that is inspired, not merely extensive. Of course, it's all about the wines—there are always dozens available by the taste or glass. There should be a place like this in every city, but there isn't.
