Concert 2 - A Moment of Happiness

Description

The Santa Cruz Chamber Players are proud to present the second performance in their 2012-2013 concert series. Entitled "A Moment Of Happiness", this concert explores a number of ways in which happiness can be portrayed through music. This program features Nino Rota's "Quintetto", Andre Jolivet's "Petite Suite" and Henry Cowell's "Quartet". The Santa Cruz Chamber Players will also perform compositions from three contemporary composers: Stephen Main's "A Columbus Triptych"; Margi Griebling-Haigh's "Danses Ravissants"; and Dennis Davenport's "The Celestial Harmony".
