Description

While the accordion may not be the most popular of instruments here in the U.S. of A., Dan "Daddy Squeeze" Newton takes a unique approach to this often-maligned squeeze-box. His music blends elements from such diverse genres as French Musette, Gypsy Swing, Cajun, Jug band, Tex-Mex and Cumbia, calling his style “ethnoclectic” music. He also incorporates stories and colorful anecdotes about the accordion and his experiences in between songs for a uniquely satisfying performance.
