About Amahl and the Night Visitors
UCSC opera students and instrumentalists present Amahl and the Night Visitors, the most beloved of Gian Carlo Menotti's operas. The 50-minute story of the imaginative child, Amahl, and his three royal visitors is sung in English with chamber orchestra. Admission is free for children with a suggested donation of $10 for adults. No one turned away. Nathaniel Berman conducts, Sheila Willey directs.
Two performances: 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
Doors open 30 minutes before curtain.
