About Art of Communication Festival
Join us for a day or half-day to explore compassionate communication with family members, friends, co-workers, community members---and with yourself.
In the morning, we will demonstrate Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with Conflict Improv, where the teachers act out suggestions from the audience. Then we will have workshops including these topics:
Introduction to the Art of Communication
The Powerful Messages of Yes and No: Honoring Boundaries
Making Peace with Conflict
Couples: Getting to Non-defensiveness
Speaking Peace in the Political Realm
Parents Setting Limits
The Neurobiology of NVC
NVC as a Spiritual Practice
