Best Practices Writing Workshop

The Young Writers Program will hold a free workshop on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education, 400 Encinal Street, Santa Cruz. The Best Practices Workshop will give potential and current volunteers as well as interested teachers the basics for supporting student writing in the classroom. The Young Writers Program is dedicated to Santa Cruz County students in grades 4-12 and their teachers in building students’ writing skills and confidence.
