Birding at Dawn at UC Santa Cruz Arboretum & Botanic Garden

Calling all budding and experienced bird watchers and nature photographers!

Offered to members and the public for the first time ever, come discover the Arboretum at dawn!

Don't wait for Hummingbird Day ~ now scheduled for May 11.

The Allen's Hummingbirds have returned to breed and are buzzing around the gardens! Come watch or photograph their amazing acrobats and elegant plumage.

The Arboretum Gate will open at 6am on Friday & Saturday, 7am on Sunday (due to daylight savings).

Cost for this rare opportunity is: $10/person for Arboretum Members (must present current membership card) $15/person for Non-Members.
