About Calvary Episcopal Church Hosts Community Forum on November State Ballot Measures

In the next installment of its Community Forum series, Calvary Episcopal Church in Santa Cruz is hosting an event to increase understanding of the eleven (11) State propositions on the November 6, 2018 ballot. The event, Pros & Cons of the November State Ballot Measures, will take place at Calvary Parish Hall at the corner of Lincoln and Cedar Streets on Saturday, October 6, 2:00 - 4:00 pm, and will feature a presentation by the League of Women Voters of Santa Cruz County.

This forum will provide arguments both for and against the statewide propositions. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Calvary Episcopal Church, Santa Cruz’s landmark “Little Red Church” – the oldest continuously operating church building in Santa Cruz County. First services conducted in April 1865.
