About Dog Agility for Beginners (6 week class)

Agility is a great activity for you and your dog! It helps build confidence, is active and fun!

You and your dog will learn the foundations of agility: how to work and communicate as an agility team, how to use toys for motivation, obedience for agility, start line stay, body awareness, forward focus, send to a target, 2-on 2-off nose targeting for contacts, acceleration, deceleration, circle work, send to a distant table, jumps with wraps, send, call to and run with and more. We will use training equipment in this class: table, tunnel, tippy boards, planks and platforms.

Prerequisites: Your dog must be at least six months of age, have good attention and connection to you around new dogs and people. They should have a sit, down, stay, release and a recall around distractions (including around other dogs and people.)
