Gallery Host Volunteer Position

Looking to get some hands-on experience in a museum or gallery? The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH) seeking enthusiastic individuals with an interest in history and art to help us invigorate our gallery host program!

A gallery host is a volunteer position at the MAH that interacts with the public in engaging and enlightening conversation. We’re looking to invigorate this program with a kind of “focus group” that meets to discuss, implement, and reflect on the changes of the gallery host program.

Participants of this focus group will gain experience in gallery hosting, exhibitions, local art and history, museum programs and community engagement.
