Meet the Author - Cornelia Read

How can we spin the straw of our everyday lives into the gold stories that draw readers in? Cornelia Read will show us how she does this in her Madeline Dare mystery series, based in part on her own life experiences and people she has known. A newspaper reporter and author, Read won the 2008 Shamus Award for best private investigator short story, Hungry Enough, published in A Hell of a Woman anthology. Her most recent book is "Valley of Ashes".
