About Naturalist Night: The Natural History of Trails, with MBOSC

Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History for another Naturalist Night, this time exploring the natural history of trails on Thursday, May 9! Santa Cruz County’s many parks and open spaces contain hundreds of miles of trails, allowing access to hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians alike. Join three local experts, in partnership with Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC), for a panel presentation that will provide a broader context for trail users and volunteers to understand the open spaces where we work and play. Learn more about the rocks, soils, topography, plants, animals, and other aspects of the ecosystem that land managers must consider in addition to human uses, and become a more informed trail user and steward.

Space is limited, and we strongly advise preregistration. Save your seat here: https://bit.ly/2KmZ5Ks
