No Divas 4th Annual Fall Concert

No Divas is putting the polish on its 4th annual Fall concert at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Saturday, November 19, 2016. This emerging eight-voice ensemble delivers a rounded handful of great tunes from around the world. From show tunes to rock to renaissance to 40's swing to African to opera to jazz standards – there's plenty of something for everyone.

No Divas is the latest offering from award-winning conductor and arranger, Josh Gitomer. Founder and director of Mount Madonna Choir and Pacific Voices, Josh thought he had safely retired a few years back, but as you know, life is what happens when you’ve made other plans. This time around he has honed it down to a well blended, close knit company of satin voices serving up a wide-ranging but seamless 20-song repertoire.

You will be treated to the voices of Sarah Riddick, Nicole Benjamin, Edy Rhodes, Antonina Hines, Carolyn Jackson, Vivian Moutafian, Laura Schanzer and Suki Wessling – all soloists in their own right, but not a diva in the group! We'll be joined by Jay Jackson on piano, Al Globus on guitar, and Deby Benton Grosjean on Fiddle, plus a few surprise guest artists.
