Open House at the Castro Adobe: Beginnings at the Adobe

As your family begins a new year, please join us as we imagine the Castros’ experience as one of the first Spanish families to make their home in California. Warm up with some traditional hot chocolate from our cocina and keep out of the cold in the comfort of our adobe, where we will share the stories of this pioneering family and our pioneering park. When we finally open for regular days and hours, you can say you were there before our official beginning as the Pájaro Valley’s own state historic park! Event is free; limited parking (carpooling encouraged). Active construction site, open only during scheduled events like this.
