Poet George Lober & Open Mic Reading

Join us at Community Writers of Santa Cruz County to hear local poet George Lober read his work. Lober has won numerous awards and recognition for his teaching at the secondary, post-secondary and graduate levels.

We meet eight times a year to hear local featured authors, poets and playwrights. Every month we have open mic, a chance for people of all levels to read their own original work at the podium. Sign-ups are at 2:15 p.m. Open mic readers have about five minutes to read. It's free.
