ABOUT EARL ZERO:
Earl Anthony Johnson, Greenwich Town, West Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. Zero began his recording career with Bunny Lee, who produced his self-penned 'None Shall Escape The Judgement'. The song was given to Johnny Clarke, who had previously enjoyed hits with producer Rupie Edwards. While Clarke's career took off, Zero had to wait until 1975 when, with singer/producer Al Campbell, 'Righteous Works' became a substantial hit. Guided by Tommy Cowan of Talent Corporation, he recorded 'Please Officer' and the legendary 'City Of The Weakheart'. The song was covered with a slight variation to the lyrics by fellow Talent Corporation recording star Jacob Miller, and was included on the release of his album Killer Miller.

By 1976 Zero had joined Bertram Brown's Freedom Sounds for the release of 'Get Happy' and was reunited with Al Campbell for 'Heart Desire'. In the following years, his output remained steady: 'Visions Of Love', 'Pure And Clean', 'Shackles And Chains', 'Jah Guide' and 'Blackbird' earned him cult status. In 1979 he recorded with the Soul Syndicate, featuring Carlton 'Santa' Davis, George 'Fully' Fullwood, Tony Chin and Earl 'Chinna' Smith, who also produced the session. In the UK, 'City Of The Weakheart' was released as 'City Of The Wicked' as a discomix through Greensleeves Records. The songs were featured on Visions Of Love, which surfaced in 1979 along with remakes of his earlier recordings, including 'None Shall Escape The Judgement', 'Shackles And Chains', 'I No Lie' and 'Please Officer'. He later relocated to Northern California and built up a reputation as a leading artist on the region's reggae scene. In 2014 Earl received several legend awards at The Tribute To The Legends festival in San Diego. Earl Zero toured 2015 & 2016 with Pure Roots and toured alongside Bunny Wailer & Harrison Stafford from Groundation. In 2016 Earl was featured in Pure Roots film "Pure Roots live @ The Regency Ballroom HD" also Earl will be performing Reggae On The River Festival 2016 alongside Soul Syndicate. Earl Zero is currently recording an full length album produced in France which is set for a 2019 release date.

ABOUT SOUND REASONING:
This original roots rock reggae band delivers spirited conscious music: resounding rhythm, blazing brass and gnarly leads that are as limitless as the ocean waves of their hometown Santa Cruz, California. Sound Reasoning is released a full length debut album “Have You Heard” in 2018. Sound Reasoning was featured on KPIG’s (107.5 FM) live Sunday morning show “Please Stand By”, and has performed live on KKUP’s (91.5 FM ) annual “Reggae Marathon”. Founding member Sol-I NewTree started his songwriting career in Austin, Texas 25 years ago. After forging a tight duo with Todd I George in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the shimmering sounds inspired trumpeter Tonya Silvestri, who is Sol-I’s wife, and saxophonist Bob Furber, to chime in their dynamic horn style. Over the years, this energetic band has evolved into the Magnificent Seven on board today. Sound Reasoning has been playing throughout the San Francisco Bay area since 2004 and has shared the stage with Don Carlos, Bambu Station, Ras Midas, Melvin Seals and many others.
