When blues guitar legend Robben Ford was encouraged by his record label to release a live album, he took their advice…sort of. Instead of releasing songs that had been recorded live at concerts, Ford went to Nashville, Tennessee and recorded his brand new release, aptly titled, A Day In Nashville. This spontaneous and in-the-moment record was recorded live and features his signature blend of blues, soul and rock tones, fine-tuned from his years playing with Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis and others. With the family Ford Blues Band in tow, the new material is sure to sound as good onstage as it does in the studio.
