Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way (Parent Educator Certification)

2-DAYS of Training to become a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. Cost covers materials/certification fee/and CE credits. Call in advance for scholarships.

Participants will: Learn evidence-based, effective tools and approaches for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time (non-punitive, non-permissive); Learn how to facilitate parenting classes from the position of a non-expert with reference materials and additional resources; Gain practice with experiential exercises that help parents go beyond intellectual understanding to be able to respond in empowering ways with their children; and Have materials for group setting, parenting classes and homes visits with families.
