Tommy Igoe Groove Conspiracy

Widely respected jazz drummer Tommy Igoe calls his 12-piece Groove Conspiracy, “A rock band in a jazz band’s body.” Groove Conspiracy covers the gamut of genres with big band style and heavy-hitting arrangements, staking out new rhythmic territory, from funk and R&B to Cuban and Brazilian grooves. Drum educator Igoe gave rhythmic life to Broadway’s The Lion King and was named Best Jazz Drummer in 2014 by Modern Durmmer Magazine. The Groove Conspiracy features alumni of Tower of Power, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Aretha Franklin, and Steely Dan.
