World Harmony Chorus

The World Harmony Chorus Santa Cruz branch starts up on Wednesday Oct 12, with a repertoire of wonderful music from around the world. We'll be singing songs from the Africa, Europe, South America, and more!

Everyone is welcome, there are no auditions and no singing experience is necessary (experienced singers are also welcome, and there are solo opportunities for those who would like them). All parts are taught by ear, and musical transcriptions are provided.

All ages are welcome, though children under 9 might find it a bit daunting. The chorus will perform several times throughout the year, principally in January and in the spring.

If you've never experienced the magic of singing in a choir, or if you've always thought of yourself as someone who "just can't sing", this is a great way to start.

There will be two 'sessions': Oct - Jan, and Feb - Jun. There is a fee for participation, with work study and scholarships available...this will all be discussed at rehearsals. However, come for free until you decide to commit for the session.
