Description

A product of art school in North Carolina, synthpop trio Future Islands has paid their indie dues, touring up and down the country for years at a time and recording their second album within the walls of their very own living room. Nearly a year after the release of their latest album, On the Water, the band self-described as "too noisy for new wave, too pussy for punk" brings its synth-driven sound to Santa Cruz for a night of pure electro-sonic pleasure.
