Description

Moe's Alley presents a night of blues and blurlesque featuring the Lara Price Blues Band and Santa Cruz Sirens Burlesque.

Born in the war torn country of Vietnam in 1975, Lara Price discovered the power of music at the tender age of 6 after taking piano lessons in England, and discovered her singing voice at the age of 12. After moving to the Bay Area in 1997, she started her own blues jam at JJ's Blues in San Jose, and since then her career has skyrocketed. She has performed around the world, winning over fans and audiences alike for her unique style that reminds one of the music of Etta James, James Brown, Buddy Guy, Leon Russell and many more.

Formed in April of this year, the members of the Santa Cruz Sirens collectively have nearly a century of dance experience, from classical ballet to Brazilian samba, from contemporary jazz to hip hop, and more. Together they fuse traditional burlesque with innovative dance techniques for a live experience that both inspires and excites.
