Description
Come join us for the first in our summer series of Qigong seminars. Blossoms in the Spring is a jewel, encompassing the Three Treasures of Chinese medicine--Jing (essence), Qi (breath) and Shen (spirit)--and combining them into a simple regimen that is so pleasurable to perform you would NEVER call it exercise! Yet the benefits of this practice will stay with you throughout your day.
This three hour seminar will be taught by Ted Mancuso, head instructor of the Academy of Martial and Internal Arts, and Narrye Caldwell, licensed acupuncturist and professor at Five Branches University: College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The entire form will be taught, step-by-step, and will emphasize relaxed movements, quiet breathing and a calm mind. Book and DVD are also available for further study.
No previous experience is necessary to learn this Taoist exercise, and it is appropriate for all adults. Please bring a pad to sit on; some chairs will be provided, also. To reserve your space, please call 475-1429. For more information, and for further seminars:
