The Educators' Institute is a full-service professional development and training center in downtown Oakland. The Educators' Institute (EI), a division of RT Fisher Educational Enterprises, was created to provide an educational environment for adults and students alike. Offering a virety of courses and programs plus meeting spaces for rent and collaborative workspace for your tutoring and business needs. The goal of EI is to facilitate life long learning that brings out the best in individuals, empowering them to be vibrant members of our community.


EI is a full-service training center for all kinds of Educators -- not only Teachers, Administrators, Tutors, Students, Instructional Assistants but Parents, Community Leaders, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs as well -- all those who work directly and indirectly with students.



At The Educators' Institute, we specialize in a broad range of courses, cooperative meeting space for teaching, tutoring and business professionals, as well as a full range of guest services; for educational and business professionals, non-profits, community groups and local corporations. The center is open 7 days a week, located in downtown Oakland within 2 blocks of Jack London Square, one block from safe and inexpensive parking in a new City owned garage, convenient to BART and within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and hotels.
