Description

A frequent collaborator with artists as prominent as Steely Dan and Billy Cobham, Wayne Krantz's unique jazz fusion guitar sound has earned the musician his stripes. Since 1986, Krantz has built an impressive solo career on a foundation of nine feature-length albums and a long list of soulful duets. His move towards a "louder thing" in 2007 marked a departure from his standing Thursday night dates with New York City's 55 Bar to play larger stages and bigger amps, but the shift has paid off handsomely for Krantz, his trusted drummer Keith Carlock and the grooving bass lines of Tim Lefebvre.
