Winter Docent Trainings 2012

Do you like to learn about nature? Do you like to share your knowledge with others? Become a docent at the Museum! Museum docents are volunteer tour guides, trained by museum staff to lead school programs. No previous experience is necessary to join our docent team! Our long-running animal tour programs connect kids with animal characteristics, habitats and adaptations. Preschool kids learn about animal coverings (fur, feathers, scales) through a puppet show. School-age kids touch artifacts and learn from Museum specimen.
