15th Annual Practical Activism Conference

You are invited to the 15th Annual Practical Activism Conference on Saturday, October 21st 2017, from 10:30am to 5:00pm at the College Nine and College Ten Multipurpose Room, UCSC. This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Zahra Billoo, spoken word artist Porsche Kelly, ten interactive workshops, and a variety of hands on activism and opportunities. The Conference offers workshops on the topics of the Syrian Refugee Crisis, ICE Raids, Black Lives Matter, Resistance in the Age of Trump, and much more. The Practical Activism Conference is run by the passion of students from College Nine, College Ten, and Oakes College. The goal is to build awareness and provide tools for local and global change.
