About 38th Annual PVQA Quilt Show

Please come to PVQA's 38th annual quilt show! The Pajaro Valley Quilt Association is a nonprofit organization promoting education and charity work for it's members. We make quilts for many charities including, Foster Kids, kid's camps, Veterans, Hospice, Jacob's Heart, etc. The proceeds from the quilt show will be used to continue our charity work.

Over 500 quilts. made by our members, will be on display. The 4H kids quilts will also be included in the show.

There will be a live quilt auction on Sunday, 2/28. The show features a fashion show of quilted clothing. A popular event is the "bed turning" showing quilts and telling their stories. Several raffles will be held for gift baskets. A raffle for the opportunity quilt shown above (red tones) will be held on Sunday.

Curious about the value of your old quilt? Visit Nancy Bavor, certified quilt appraiser, who will be available throughout the show.

The featured speaker is Threase May, well-known quilt teacher, artist and quilt maker.

Forty vendors from all over California, will be at the show selling comfortable shoes, quilting fabrics, supplies, kits, patterns, etc.

Several quilt demonstrators will be on hand to show their art(s) including hand quilting, quilt piecing and construction, applique. Other demonstrators include rug makers, weavers and knitters. There are some ‘hands on’ demos for show visitors to try.
