About A Taste of Spain on Your Plate (Vegan Cooking & Wine Pairing Class)

Greetings Foodies and Wine Lovers!

Join me for a delightful afternoon enjoying the beautiful art of Spanish Cooking and Wine Pairing at Pescadero Creek Vineyard's magnificent setting, beautifully nestled in the foothills of Pescadero. We'll be going on a delicious journey to Valencia, Spain through our culinary adventures together!

In this hands-on delicious vegan cooking class, you'll make a 4-course meal:

1) A Luscious Appetizer - Smoked Paprika Garbanzo Beans & Green Olives Tapa

2) A Delightful Salad - Fennel Blood Orange Salad

3) A Magnificent Entree - Paella with organic seasonal vegetables, shallots, garlic, artichokes, caper berries, Spanish green olives and Lemon-Saffron Santo Tomas Bomba Rice, which you’ll be making in the class.

4) Two Decadent Desserts: Tarta de Santiago de Chocolate (Spanish almond tart with dark chocolate & orange zest) and Red Barlette Pear Pistachio Tarta infused with organic culinary lavender (both dairy and egg-free), which you'll enjoy with Café Bustelo Dark Roast Coffee.

You'll enjoy your exquisite culinary creations with Pescadero Creek Vineyard’s award-winning wine, the 2014 Pascale Pinot Noir, which beautifully complements the Spanish cuisine!

Class runs for 4 hours and limited to 10 students to ensure the most spectacular experience for all. Since, space is limited, early registration is highly encouraged. Please note: Drop-in not available, all students must register in advance.

Class fee is $175.00 and includes a delicious bottle of 2014 Pascale Pinot Noir (a $65.00 value) and a small bag of organic culinary lavender.

Plus, all registered students of this class will receive a one-time 10% discount offer on a Paella Kit (a Carbon Steel Paella Pan, 2-Pounds of Santo Tomas Bomba Rice, one sweet Smoked Pimenton de la Vera, one jar of Jar Al-Jucar Spanish Saffron and a La Paella Cookbook by Jeff Koehler), tart pan and all other items available in the Toque Blanche store located in downtown Santa Cruz and on their website.

I will provide an apron for each student, a tantalizing fruity red rooibos tea plus light refreshments before the start of class. It’s an experience you’ll savor from beginning to end.

This delicious class makes a beautiful gift to yourself and your loved ones for mother's day, father's day, birthdays and anniversaries too.

I look forward to seeing you in class! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
