ANGEL’S STEPS – Solo Piano Recital with Sarah Cahill

Sarah Cahill, "the doyenne of contemporary keyboard music" will perform in a conert titled "Angel's Steps", an exploration of experimental and adventurous 20th century music.

Sarah was recently called "a sterling pianist and an intrepid illuminator of the classical avant-garde" by the New York times and has commissioned, premiered and recorded numerous compositions for solo piano.

She will perform pieces by 10 composers, including a local premier of Lou Harrison's "Range Song." An unpublished work from the Mills College archives, that was part of a collection of dance pieces for piano from 1937, titled the "Usonian Set."
