Apple Tasting!

The Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers invites you to attend their annual apple tasting. Attendees of this unusual tasting will get to try more than 70 different apples, ranging from the sweet Ambrosia to the more complex Karmijn de Sonnaville to the tangy and beautiful red fleshed Rubaiyat. Not to be missed, this is the largest and most diverse apple tasting on California's central coast, and probably the largest in the state. Admission is $5 per person with discounts given for couples and families. The tasting is part of the Wilder Ranch Harvest Festival which is a lovely old timey event with hand pressed cider, pumpkin ice cream, and dancing to live music.
