The UC Santa Cruz Arboretum & Botanic Garden and the Ray Collett Rare and Extraordinary Plants Lecture Series presents: Banksias--Selection, Design, Cultivation & a Little Bit of Botany with Rodger Elliot, 10 am in Hort II. Followed by a potluck lunch!


Rodger Elliot is a world-renowned author, botanist and, horticulturist from Australia will be here at the end of this month, Monday, October 26 at 7pm and Thursday, October 31 at 10am for two very different presentations. Rodger is a prolific author on the Australian flora. He is the principal author of the nine-volume Encyclopedia of the Cultivation of Australia Plants From Around The World. This was a 25-year project which took Rodger and his wife, Gwen around the world many times!
