Beer and Cider Tasting

Quench your thirst at our monthly beer and cider tasting. Today features Firestone Walker Brewery and Golden State Cider Company. Based in Paso Robles and Buellton, CA, Firestone has received the honor of being recognized as World Beer Cup Champion Brewery for mid-sized breweries several times. They utilize a patented variation of the Burton Union system developed in England in the 1800s in its oak barrel fermentation process. Golden State Cider in Sebastopol, CA, sources 100 percent fresh-pressed West Coast apples, including local, organic apples when available. The company says it is one of the few cider producers in the country that does not add water, sugar or concentrate to any of its products. With 6.9 percent alcohol by volume, GSC is comparable to that of craft beer, but offers a gluten-free alternative.
