California surfing history documentary film screening

Local filmmaker, Chris Thompson, will be showing scenes from his documentary film series covering the entire 145 years of California surfing history. Outdoor screening (dress warmly) with limited seating (RSVP required) on the patio of the Santa Cruz Hostel, located in Carmelita Cottages Park on Main Street. Free of charge. Starts at 7:30 with a brief introduction by the filmmaker.
