Caring for our Sacred Earth—FREE EVENT

A Green Power Team Action Training Day for community who want to actively protect our Sacred Earth. Green Power, in association with The Diocese of Monterey are hosting this creative, fun and informative event on July 17th, 2016, 12pm-4pm at Resurrection Church in Aptos called “Caring for Our Sacred Earth”.

The event will launch the Monterey Diocese climate campaign and teach parishioners how to form green power teams. The event will be opened by Monterey Diocese Bishop Richard Garcia and keynoted by Dr. Katie Hirschboeck of the University of Arizona. Also presenting will be Green Power/Romero Institute executive director Sara Nelson and Virginia Johnson, project leader of Monterey Bay Community Power.
