Community Free Days at the Museum of Discovery

The Santa Cruz Children’s Museum of Discovery would like to welcome all Central Coast families to celebrate our 4th anniversary on November 18, 2018 from 12 - 5 pm with an admission FREE entrance to the museum, courtesy our Community Day Sponsors.

SCCMOD loves to welcome new families to the museum and expose them to various forms of fun and learning. Some of our past community day activities and events have included demonstrations from the business sponsors, special activities and programs relating to the community day’s theme, as well as ample media coverage of the event.

For this particular Community Day event, the Capitola Mall is also holding a large fundraising event for Jacob’s Heart from 2 - 4 pm, titled Miracle on 41st. Families who attend the MOD’s admission free community day will also get access to the mall’s activities, which include two stage performances (2 and 3 pm); appearances by Happily Ever Laughter; an aerial acrobatic show; and activities that include glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, craft-making, a selfie station and much more!
