Aerial Hoop’ography Workshop with Chelsea Moreno (ADULT/ALL LEVELS)
This workshop will be an exploration of powerful choreography on a lowered aerial hoop. There will be focus on strength, fluidity, musicality, and style, while maneuvering under, over, on and through the apparatus. With the goal of creating a space that both empowers and inspires, sequences of choreography will be taught and practiced throughout the workshop so each individual discovers their own unique strength within the movement.

Contemporary Aerial Hoop Workshop with Chelsea Moreno (ALL AGES/LEVELS)
This workshop will be an introduction to contemporary based aerial hoop. It will focus on blending fundamental technique with flow of movement, presentation and intention. While working on sequencing tricks and increasing each students’ repertoire of skills, an emphasis will be made on creative transitions and innovative ways of maneuvering around the apparatus. Using each student’s individual strengths, short routines will be created, practiced and explored throughout the workshop.

Contemporary aerial hoop is an up-and-coming art form that has Chelsea Moreno (aka Che Che La Boom) taking flight in the world of performance and teaching. With a strong background in both gymnastics and dance, Che Che has began to discover the endless and captivating possibilities of what she calls "aerial hoop'ography"; a powerful style that encompasses fluidity, musicality and strength while maneuvering around the apparatus. Che Che is inspired by the idea of looking at the aerial hoop as a way to dive even deeper into the dimensions and magic of contemporary dance.
