About Copenhagen

Limited Engagement • Limited Seating!

Michael Frayn’s “gripping intellectual exercise,” Copenhagen, tells the story of two eminent physicists, Neils Bohr of Denmark and Werner Heisenberg of Germany, who are involved with the construction of a nuclear fission weapon and stand on opposite sides of the Second World War. In 1941, they met in Copenhagen for a discussion that would end their long association. The award-winning play brings these characters together once more to explore their confrontation and what it meant for all humanity by examining deep and lasting moral and ethical issues while providing a glimpse into the struggle these two men faced in the darkest days of the war.
