About Developing a Focused Mind
In this retreat we will learn the basics of how to cultivate a focused mind through shi-né (shamatha or calm abiding) practice using various objects of meditation according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, learning to develop inner peace and greater emotional balance with the methods of calm-abiding; reconnect and find joy with our daily practice; cultivate a greater sense of caring and interconnection with others; and see how disturbing emotions and mental problems arise.
