“Classics with a Touch of Poetry”
features three of the most celebrated and beloved composers from the Classical Period: Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven including the ever popular Pathetique Sonata. The program continues with works by Franz Liszt, all inspired by poetry: "Widmung" ("Dedication"), Liebestraum ("Dream of Love") and one of Liszt's most original and brilliant compositions: the Dante Sonata, inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy.
