Ensemble Monterey and Cantiamo Cabrillo present Fanfare!

A celebration of magnificent music for organ, brass, choir and percussion. Ensemble Monterey is joined by the vocal ensemble Cantiamo! in presenting some of the most powerful and awe-inspiring music ever written. With organ soloist Tiffany Bedner at the keyboard, a large brass choir, voices and percussion, we perform a tour de force of majestic Renaissance works by Gabrielli, French romantic masterworks by Gigout and contemporary pieces culminating in Norman Dello Joio’s Hymn to Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music.
