Exploring the San Lorenzo River: Sandhills and the San Lorenzo
About Exploring the San Lorenzo River: Sandhills and the San Lorenzo
The San Lorenzo River watershed is home to birds and bugs, fish and funghi, you and me! Explore the river ecosystem during the 2nd Annual Exploring the San Lorenzo River Series hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History and the Coastal Watershed Council. Learn from local naturalists, scientists and artists during this FREE weekly series, held at a different location along the river every Saturday now through April 21.
Saturday, March 17: Sandhills and the San Lorenzo
Where's the water? It's deep underground! Groundwater plays a hidden but important role in river health--and provides drinking water for many of us!
Pre-registration is required. Visit https://coastal-watershed.org/event/exploring-san-lorenzo-river-series-tour-7/ to register for this free event and to find out the exact meeting location.
