Free Guided Tour of the UCSC Farm

Take a free tour of the 33-acre organic UCSC Farm. Visitors can enjoy touring the organically managed greenhouses, hand-worked garden beds, orchards, row crop fields, and children's garden, while learning about the history of the site and the basic concepts of organic farming and gardening. Perched on a meadow near the campus entrance, the farm also offers spectacular views of the Monterey Bay.

Meet at the Cowell Ranch Hay Barn before walking up to the farm. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat and/or sunscreen. Visitors should submit a COVID-19 Symptom Check Questionnaire within 24 hours before arriving on campus (https://slugstrong.ucsc.edu/returning-to-campus/checking-for-symptoms/)
