Game* Day II: Escape Room and Board Game Lounge

Come play EXIT Santa Cruz's second mini escape room, Phantom of the Preschool, and hang out in our free board game lounge. This event will benefit Friends of Kayany, the U.S. arm of an NGO that provides schooling for Syrian refugee children.

Never been to an escape room? The goal is for teams of 6 to 10 people to use objects in the room to figure out clues and solve puzzles. Escape rooms are fun because they put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test. Many different types of skills and abilities are necessary to be successful. Our rooms aren't scary, just lots of fun.

In Phantom of the Preschool, a playful spirit has been wreaking havoc at Garfield Park Preschool. The teachers are puzzled and parents are calling in about the strange things their kids are saying. Only the most perceptive Paranormal Investigators can figure out what the ghost wants. Unfortunately, the school director doesn't believe the teachers, so you only have her lunch break to solve the mystery and restore peace!

Escape room times are: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Tickets are $12, with 25% of sales going to Friends of Kayany.

The board game lounge will be open from 2:30pm to 7pm.
