Golden State Art Show

In honor of National Women’s Month, prolific female artists from throughout California have come together to present an impressive display of paintings, sculptures and other artworks in The Golden State Art Show. Confirmed participating artists include Dani B, Suki Berry, Rose Briccetti, HumanShapedAnimal, Britt Kuchenmeister, Elyse Pignolet, Missy Reitner-Cameron, Lena Rushing, Leigh Erickson, and Mamie Young. Additional artists will be announced as the event approaches. The Art Cave, a woman owned gallery, located at 2801 Mission Street #2803 in Santa Cruz, will open the show with a reception on Saturday, March 14th beginning at 6:00pm. Pieces will be on display through the month of March.

In the spirit of supporting women, partial proceeds from the show will go to Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. “This show brings together an incredible collection of talent and passion. Now is the perfect time to highlight women in the art space and use our notoriety to help fund a cause we feel passionate about,” show co-organizer Missy Reitner-Cameron said of the project. “I’m proud to be part of this collaboration.”
