About Live Concert "Almost Cut My Hair" with Photo Exhibit of Rock & Roll History

This is a MUST-HEAR Live Concert from the “Almost Cut My Hair” CSNY Tribute Band as they celebrate the amazing Photography Exhibit of Rock & Roll History. This concert from the Barnyard Gardens Concert Series, on May 14th, 2016 – provides an excellent soundtrack for the Original Photography of the late Tai Stills, Tom Gundelfinger O’Neal, and Fred Arellano.

Of special note is that this exhibit includes – for the first time – some rare, never-seen-before photographs from the collection of the late Tai Stills, Stephen Stills’ little sister, aptly titled “Extraordinary Access.” A long time resident of Santa Cruz County, Tai has been honored for her commitment to the environment numerous times. Photography was another passion of hers: These intimate photographs of Tai’s are the first pieces to be shown from her extensive, up close-and-personal collection, meticulously selected and artfully displayed by the current owner, Laura Crafts.

Tom Gundelfinger O’Neal and Fred Arellano have earned an excellent reputation as vintage rock photographers with impressive portfolios. Feast your eyes on photos of legendary rock stars taken at now-historical music events: Monterey International Pop Festival, Big Sur Folk Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, featuring CSNY, The Who, Jerry Garcia, and more….plus iconic album covers.

Feast your ears on the music of this era from outstanding musicians from the Bay Area, Connecticut and Nashville. This mega-talented tribute band to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: The Almost Cut My Hair Band, is produced by Dean Newberry. This performance marks the 6th time these incredible musicians have performed in the area, many times in Santa Cruz venues, and several times here in Carmel.
