Come out and enjoy a unique and beautiful concert of an international blend. Santa Cruz Chamber Players present Concert 5, “MUSA Chinese Baroque” at Christ Lutheran Church,
10707 Soquel Drive in Aptos, CA on March 16 &17th.
“Chinese Baroque explores the dynamic and complex cultural exchanges between Western Europe and China in the 17th and 18th centuries through the lens of music. Despite mutual fascination, it was often difficult to surmount linguistic and cultural differences to reach a true understanding of each other.” The ultimate result of the baroque style East meets West is magnificent.
