About Practical Activism Conference
The 17th Annual Practical Activism Conference (PAC) is a day-long event organized by UCSC students from Colleges Nine, Ten, and Oakes. The conference includes different workshops that focus on various social justice issues, keynote speaker Morning Star Gali, spoken word artist Reginald Edmonds, special sessions that highlight issues not covered in workshops, and other great resources. The purpose of the conference is to bring awareness about current social issues to students, university faculty, and community members at large. Not only is PAC a day filled of meaningful information, PAC planners also provide participants tools they can practically use in the real world to showcase their activism.
