Join us on Monday, October 11th, (The Columbus Day weekend), from 3 - 6pm at beautiful Bird Valley Organics and Lifted Organics Farms for a deep dive into regenerative cannabis farming and how it goes beyond organic to heal, improve & remediate our environment. We’ll be touring both farms & learning about the different regenerative agricultural practices they utilize to produce their full spectrum products of exceptional quality. This is a fantastic time to tour when cannabis crops are at the height of the growing season right before harvest!
Bird Valley Organics grows according to an ancient German cultivation technique known as hügelkulturs, that focuses on building a healthy soil ecosystem to grow healthy plants. The hügelkulturs are planted with vegetables in addition to the cannabis that creates a diverse & symbiotic environment with the soil, plants and pollinators.
Lifted Organics utilizes a wide variety of regenerative practices that includes greenhouses, hoop houses outdoor fields, cover crops, hydroponics and more to produce over 20 varieties of cannabis. We’ll be learning how they utilize autoflower, that grows in a different life cycle from traditional photoperiod varieties.
After our tours:
Happy Hour / Harvest Celebration at Bird Valley Organics beautiful outdoor pergola that overlooks their farm. We're creating a fabulous charcuterie / appetizer spread using farm produce & local ingredients to pair with local wines & artisan beverages including an assortment of seasonal shrubs from Tabitha Stroup. You can expect a variety of exceptional non-psychoactive creative appetizers & beverages!
Tickets are $60 each and $100 for two, (couple ticket).
Tour activities are outdoors and socially distanced. All guests are requested to bring a mask.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket & attend. ID’s will be checked at the gate entrance to the farm.
No psychoactive cannabis is used in any of the food or beverages we will be serving.
This is a 420 friendly, BYO event. Attendees are welcome to bring their own beer, wine and bud to our gathering.
The events location will be sent to you when you purchase a ticket.
Ticket purchases include a link for a coupon code that can be redeemed for discounts on farm products at Santa Cruz Naturals dispensary locations in both Watsonville & Santa Cruz.
